If you are new to Paris, or if all your friends have left on vacation, why not come meet some new people, sip Champagne, and play pétanque?
Weather permitting, we will meet at 19:00 in front of the fountain in the Square Saint-Lambert park in the 15th arrondissement and play until the park closes at 21:30. We will supply the glasses, bubbly and snacks, and a few sets of pétanque balls. Feel free to bring a picnic and extra boules. Partners welcome. If the weather is nasty, we can just drink champagne at my place.
