If you are an art-lover and a champagne-lover, then don't miss this opportunity to meet Caroline Brun, an artist from Äy who paints champagne, and Michelle De Feo, President of Champagne Laurent-Perrier USA. Together we will delve into the very different styles of rosé champagne and explore why you have to do some homework when pairing them with food. 

 

We will try 5 very different rosé champagnes (from houses where women play an important role of course!). Champagne Laurent-Perrier will be one of them. We will explore their differences from grape to glass. You will learn the difference between a blended rosé and a macerated rosé. You will try the champagnes side-by-side and with different food pairings to determine which ones work best. 

 

Caroline will bring a selection of her paintings of rosé champagnes and explain how and why she paints. Michelle will talk to you about Champagne Laurent-Perrier, which is currently managed by two sisters and has a long history of women at the helm, which you will learn about. Laurent-Perrier is also the only big champagne house to make a rosé champagne using the tricky maceration method.
